We’re delighted to introduce our first group of trainees who will be joining the NSERC CREATE TESS this fall for our first semester of programming.
This cohort brings together an incredibly diverse collection of expertise and backgrounds spanning numerous disciplinary topics, each with a commitment to transdisciplinary research and sustainability at the core of what they do. Some are early in their research careers. Some have spent years in a lab. Some have spent years in community organizations, studios, or policy offices, but we know each will make the TESS program richer because of their participation.
Over the coming years this group will move through our program together as a cohort, learning, working with community and industry partners, and, we hope, pushing us to keep rethinking what sustainability training should look like.
